Just wanted to share a quick video of my voxel engine :



The shadow light is inspired by blockEngine !
I'm really far away from block engine, but I'm doing my work, for my first directX it is working really well !

I love to learn new things, like lately the basic verlet physic engine !

Tx,

did lot of research on the landscape generation to make it interesting and fast !

The key was 3D noises (mixed up with 2d noises) with linear interpolation (for speed - because computing something like 12 octaves on every landscape cells take a huge amount of time).
