Updating Map Empty Updating Map

Is it possible to build something large enough that will appear on the map where you select spawnpoint? I would like to know because it would just make it a lot easier to find your previous position. It would be cool to have this if it isn't possible.

if you make something it WILL show up on the map if you can spot it

now i know that even if the map updates your build would have to be bloody huge to find it on the map.
