I like the towerblock. Is that a staircase i see inside?
I always thought the actual working buildings that were built in minecraft were really cool. I could almost imagine the guys putting up the steelwork on this one croxx
The village looks like it's off to a good start, you should try the scaffolding block on the bridge, it may work for you.

Yes, it is a stairway you can see...
I think 'll post some more images soon (with glass in place)
BTW: glass block with smaller margins would be very nice (an maybe an option to turn "backside-rendering" of glass block faces on/off [The one you toggled on in one of the latest updates])
You mean the grid-like block?

OK, here you are...
A close-up of my skyscraper (still waiting for some windows ) at dawn:
More to come.
P.S.:
The terrain slopes are always new generated when loading the game, aren't they?
I noticed that the roof of my house is sloped (and also parts of the skyscraper that shouldn't be...)

Re: Skyscraper and small village
Slopes currently are generated on the landscape as it is loaded from disk / created from scratch. This means that if you build something and then restart the game later (or fly far away and come back), then what you have built will be 'sloped'.
If you now alter the chunk that has been sloped the slopes are saved to disk.
If you turn of slopes in the menu it only stops chunks getting sloped as they are loaded / created. Anything loaded from disk with slopes in it will still have those slopes regardless of the setting.
Slopes are still a work in progress; i tend to get stuff up and running then move onto something else. While i am working on the second (or third, or forth) thing, i mull over the first thing and see if i can come up with a better way of doing it.

Re: Skyscraper and small village
After a bit of fine-tuning I can now present some indoor screens of my house, an "underwater" base and my finished skyscraper...
Thanks for placing my images on the start screen Slaihne. That was quite a big surprise when I started the game!
The corridor of my house
The orange room
The yellow room with something like a bathroom...
A complete view of my finished skyscraper
And here's your stairway Slaihne
A close-up of the upper part
An indoor screen of the new underwater base
An overview over the whole village right now...
As always I look forward to hear some feedback ...
Critics and suggestions welcome.

Re: Skyscraper and small village
It's looking really good now
I see you've got an underwater base now. Just don't get yourself a white cat
A balcony might look good on the tower.

Well, I think a balcony doesn't fit for the skyscraper...
It may look better on a little (not too small) house...
